Do you want to make a download your favorite video from YouTube,MySpace, etc or do you want to backup your uploaded video from these services? There is a quick way of downloading the videos, since there are many services out there which help in downloading the videos, I have found SaveTube to be really good and never experienced any downtime from them.
All you have to do is copy the URL of the video as shown below and click GO.
Now click on Download link in the Green box that will be shown in the page.
According to SaveTube people are having 2 small problems using their service and they have solved it for them.
Common Problem 1: No download link when I paste the video address in.
-Be sure to paste in the Video URL in the right format. See the example near the Help button. You will have to cut off things like "&feature=bz301" that might come with the copied URL address, if any present.
-It might be possible that the video you are trying to download was removed from youtube and is not accessible anymore.
-You are maybe using a browser that doesn’t have support for this service. Try using the latest Firefox or Internet Explorer.
-You might not have Javascript Enabled on your browser, or your Security Settings are too high. -The SaveTube server is too busy, sometimes there are 100 people trying to backup at the same time. Be patient, click GO and wait for your turn.
Common Problem 2: I don’t know what to do with the get_video file that I got from SaveTube
When the download is finished, just rename the file from get_video to somevideo.flv … Just add a .flv extension, then use an FLV Player to play it. You can also convert it. Go to the tools page for more info.
